DAY 1-4

Day 1: Check into your self-catering accommodation at the 5-star Simola Hotel. After taking in some of the views of this Jack Nicklaus designed masterpiece overlooking the Knysna Lagoon, hop into your golf cart and enjoy your first round of golf at Simola, enjoying the rest of the evening at Leisure, overlooking the Simola golf course and Knysna Forest.

Day 2: Start the day with a full English breakfast at The Simola Hotel, then making your way to Pezula for your second round of the tour (transfer cost excluded). Perched dramatically atop the Knysna Heads, the rugged beauty of Pezula Golf Course is matched by its technical challenge, providing a pleasant and rewarding golfing experience.

Enjoy the rest of the afternoon listening to LIVE music and eating Tapas on the Knysna Lagoon.

Day 3: With a day at leisure, you are spoilt for choice with local activities to choose from. Be it a visit to the elephant park or a tree-top zip-lining experience, or a placid boat trip on the lagoon, there’s something for everyone!

DAY 4-8

Enjoy a leisurely drive to Fancourt, nestled at the base of the towering Outeniqua Mountains. Fancourt is characterised by modern luxury, classic elegance, and great diversity in golf courses.

You may decide to book a spa treatment, go for a walk along the bird trail, or relax at the Roman Baths.

Day 4: Start you 4-night stay with an afternoon tee off at Outeniqua course.

Day 5: Montagu course

Day 6: Drive to Pinnacle Point for a golfing experience of a life time.

Pinnacle Point is one of a rare group of golf courses in the world built on high cliffs overlooking the ocean. It’s a spectacular experience and ranks with the likes of Pebble Beach in California, Old Head in Ireland, Kauri Cliffs in New Zealand and Playa Grande in the Dominican Republic.

Pinnacle Point has twice been named Africa’s Best Golf Course and South Africa’s Best Golf Course, in 2022 and 2020, at the World Golf Awards.

Day 7: At this golfing academy, you will get the opportunity to test your skills when you play The Links – the #2-rated golf course in South Africa. An absolute Bucket List for every avid golfer.

Day 8: Check out of Fancourt

Recommendations: Enjoying your evenings by exploring the small towns that surround George, filled with loads of charming restaurants and cafes. Fancourt is an ideal base from which to explore the Garden Route.

Glorious swimming beaches are easily accessible and mountain biking, horse riding, picnics and hikes can be arranged. Fancourt has four excellent on-site restaurants if you don’t feel like venturing out but the little hamlet of Wilderness is a 15-minute drive away – worth it for views of the Indian Ocean and dramatic gorges and a meal at a local eatery. Have a well-deserved wind-down at the hotel’s spa after three days of fantastic golf.
